Attention Seattle Talent and Seattle Artists Agency Clients!
We just received this email from the
assistant director of a short film " The Hidden Cause" (Seattle). This
sounds like a great opportunity for the children's roles. This is the
entire amount of information we have, so we will be unable to answer
questions about the production. Follow the instructions in the post.
Good luck everyone!
We need your help!!!!!
We are holding a casting tomorrow 27th of April from 11.00 to 17.00 at the Escala Building in Downtown Seattle.
Address:
1920 4th Ave Seattle, 98101
We are looking for :
MOM [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 35-47]
The mother is a stay at home mom, which can be stressful not having a real outlet to blow some steam off. Her husband has become more and more unstable which in turn has made her a little unstable herself but she does a good job of concealing it. It's a slight case of cabin fever and a constant feeling over time that "things aren't what they used to be" which has created an instability in her that isn't very apparent but is felt.
DAD [DAD] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 42-55]
The Dad has had a very difficult time coping with reality over the last few years. Whether it’s at work, his marriage, finances, social life or all of the above (whichever one you make the strongest connection with, portray). Somewhere along the way he snapped and there’s no coming back. There is a perceptible emotional disconnect borderline disgust between him and his family. He has held onto his sanity by a thread for some time but on this day it all comes crashing down.
GABRIEL [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 11-13] But look younger!
The older brother/son is mentally, the strongest member of the family. His primary focus has been making sure his younger sister is not affected by the situation at home. He has the best comprehension of the family’s emotional state.
MARY [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 10-12] But look 8-10!
The youngest sister/daughter is becoming more and more perceptive of the situation at home. She has been affected by the lack of emotional support on all sides. Her demeanor
Please it would be great if you can help us!
It 's an INDEPENDENT SHORT FILM so our budget it's really tight, however we believe it's important to give some kind of remuneration to our talented actors. It's a paid position: 200 $
